Carol Ansley, MBA

Strategy and Marketing Executive - Independent

Carol Ansley is a global marketing and business development leader with significant experience in Fortune 50 and mid-cap telecommunications corporations, and in non-profit healthcare and cancer advocacy. Her track record using strategy and marketing to build organizations spans both telecommunications and health care.

Ms. Ansley has served as CEO of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and as Vice President-Strategic Development at Medical City Dallas. She was a 20-year career telecommunications executive, serving the last ten years in international executive roles as Vice President-International Operations at IXC Communications, Regional Managing Director of Consumer Markets and Carrier Services at AT&T International Caribbean and Latin America Region and as Managing Director of AT&T Mexico. She also held the Vice President-Marketing for Emerging Service Providers position at Nortel Networks.

Ms. Ansley received her MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and her Bachelor of Science at Texas Tech University. She completed additional graduate business study at the London Business School and the University of California-Berkeley.

She serves as Immediate-Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and the Associate Board of Directors of the Cox School of Business at SMU. She has been tapped for the Executive Women's Roundtable, served as Co-Chairman of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's 2006 Light the Night Walk and selected for the Leadership America Class of 1997. Ms. Ansley mentors MBA students at the Cox School and does public speaking on leadership, mentoring and doing business internationally.
