Jim Gandy is the president of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation. Jim works closely with Frisco's Mayor, City Council, and City Manager, as well as brokers, developers, and other professionals to attract, initiate, cultivate, and consummate economic development projects for the City of Frisco. During the past five years, Frisco has experienced tremendous growth, prompting the U.S. Census Bureau to name it one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Jim has played a major role in attracting several major economic projects to Frisco, including Stonebriar Centre, a 1.6 million square foot regional mall; the Centre at Preston Ridge, a 1.1 million square foot power retail center; and the Frisco Sports Complex, a 75-acre, $300 million mixed-use project anchored by a $22 million Double A pro baseball park.
