Michael Maughan, Ph.D. is the Founder and President of Chiron Consulting Group a firm that specializes in the strategic application of psychology to yield outstanding organizations. Dr. Maughan holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and has over thirty years of experience within a wide range of organizations and at all levels within an organization.

He has worked in the fields of aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, materials technology, medical, food services, banking, capital management, manufacturing, advertising, and energy. His expertise is in the areas within every organization that enhance growth and prosperity and mitigate its risks: Areas related to vision, talent, and alignment. He is involved with vision and mission development, communication, motivation, executive assessment and development, executive coaching, selection methodologies, performance management and appraisal, management and leadership training, team building, survey development and administration, change management, conflict resolution, and innovative problem solving.

He received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston in 1989. He received his B.S. and his M.A. in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1978 and 1987 respectively. He has experience as both a manager and a consultant. Mike and his wife live in Grapevine, Texas and enjoy hiking, biking, and watersports.
