Paula's background offers a rare blend of creative and operational strengths, particularly in the areas of pharmacy operations, compliance, process re-engineering, organization-wide and department specific performance improvement, risk management, medication management, and guiding and managing quality, risk and patient safety programs to produce successful performance outcomes. She is well versed in healthcare informatics, information technology, integration and privacy and has served as a quality, compliance, and risk advisor on healthcare quality and informatics teams at the hospital and healthcare system level.  Paula's experience also includes healthcare compliance investigation and presentation of briefs and findings to executive healthcare leadership.    

Paula earned both a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy as well as a Doctor of Pharmacy from Saint Louis College of Pharmacy in Saint Louis, Missouri, and then went on to complete a Juris Doctor in Health Law at Concord University.  Paula is a frequent speaker for various healthcare associations as well as at the University level, and is currently providing consulting services for clients of AmerisourceBergen Corporation, a comprehensive pharmaceutical services provider and Fortune top 25 corporation.
