Dr. Richard Wood is Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in association with the North Texas Cardiovascular Surgical Associates.  Dr. Wood special interest is in Heart and Lung transplant, Lung volume reduction and Myocardial revascular.  Dr. Wood Professional Education was at Marquette University in Milwaukee, his internship was at Cincinnati General Hospital, his Residency was at the University of Kentucky at Lexington, his Fellowship was at St. Bartholomew's Hospital.  Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.  Dr. Wood has assisted in 55 Heart Transplants, 3 Lung Transplants and 2 Heart-Lung Transplants.
