Rick Thomson
Chief Executive Officer -
Life Warmer
Rick serves as the CEO of Life Warmer, a Dallas area medical
device firm engaged in developing innovative patient temperature
control technologies focused on achieving appropriate patient
temperatures in critical settings to improve patient outcomes.
After several years on Wall Street with Kidder Peabody, Rick
turned his attention to the medical device arena, joining US
Surgical to assist in their growth from $172 million to well over a
billion dollars in less than eight years during his tenure.
Following that, he has spent the last several years working
directly for technology driven manufacturing companies, in early
growth stages and ones needing to seek new direction. Most of
these companies have been involved with medical devices or life
sciences.
Rick combines his experience in finance on Wall Street; his senior
management roles in sales, marketing and business development with
aggressive growth medical device companies; and his years managing
divisions of electronic and printed circuit board contract
manufacturing companies to help develop the appropriate internal
teams and external support mechanisms to drive start-up companies
and stalled and early growth companies.
Rick holds a BBA in Marketing with an emphasis in Biology from
Texas Tech University.
