Toby Miles

Vice President of Marketing and Business Development - OsteoMed

Toby Miles has been associated with rigid fixation to the human skull, as it relates to Craniomaxillomandibular surgical procedures in excess of eighteen years.  He has held various management positions within the industry including tenure with Synthes Maxillofacial and Stryker Leibinger.  Mr. Miles is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for OsteoMed L.P.  In this capacity, Mr. Miles is responsible to assess new clinical technology ranging from key surgeon product ideas to total company acquisitions with a current focus on biotechnology research and development.  Other interests include a focus on continuing medical education on varying levels.  Mr. Miles has lectured to University programs in the Oral, ENT, Plastic and Neuro surgical specialties on a global scale regarding anatomy, physiology and surgical plate application as it applies to specific clinical indications.  Mr. Miles has been an invited guest speaker and delivered CEU accredited lectures during several of the Association of Surgical Technologist Annual Meetings and most recently, as the only non-medical degreed participant, to present at the 2003 Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting.
