Acceleration Program
APPLICATION
Once you have met the Admissions Criteria and completed the
Application Form for admittance into the NTEC program, your
application and executive summary will be reviewed within ten (10)
business days by NTEC management. Based on this review,
NTEC management will determine if there is reason to move forward
with a face-to-face interview. If your business concept is
not selected for additional review, you will be notified via email
as to the reasons why. Further, our response may be
that your company needs to accomplish several key milestones
before being considered for NTEC's program. You will be given
a certain amount of time to accomplish those steps and will be
offered a follow up submission date for reconsideration of entry
into the program.
INTERVIEW WITH NTEC MANAGEMENT TEAM
If our initial review of your application indicates that further
review and discussion is warranted, you will be invited to make a
short, face-to-face presentation to the NTEC management team.
This presentation will be a 15-20 minute overview of your business
concept followed by 30-45 minutes of questions and answers.
This meeting will help NTEC better understand your business, the
management team, and the "gaps" that will need to be addressed for
the business to reach future milestones. Post inteview,
NTEC management will compile a short list of key challenges that
need to be addressed. This feedback is provided to all
companies that are invited to make a face-to-face interview
regardless of whether they are asked to participate in the final
due diligence step. If you are not selected to present
further, you will be notified by a member of the NTEC management
team.
PRESENTATION TO NTEC SELECTION COMMITTEE
If your business concept successfully passes the preliminary
review of your Application and the subsequent face-to-face
interview with NTEC management, you will be asked to
provide a detailed business plan and to make a short presentation
on your business venture to the NTEC Selection Committee. Your
presentation should not last longer than fifteen minutes (15) and
will be followed by a question and answer session not to exceed
forty-five (45) minutes.
DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS
NTEC will then perform additional due diligence over the next
15-30 business days to further assess the viability of your
business venture and to make a final determination regarding
acceptance into the NTEC business incubation/acceleration
program.
CONFIDENTIALITY
NTEC maintains a policy of strict confidentiality regarding
business ventures making application to our program. However, as is
standard in the industry, NTEC will not sign non-disclosure
agreements. If there are certain entities or individuals from which
you would like your information withheld, please list those
restrictions when completing your Application Form.
ENTERING THE PROGRAM
If selected to enter the Center as a Program Company, you will
be notified by NTEC management and a follow-up meeting set to
discuss the entry process and complete the necessary engagement
documents. The flow chart below highlights the major
points in the Admission Review Process.
