The first few couple years for a startup company can be the most
hazardous - rife with potential pitfalls.
And for fledgling companies in the medical technology field, the
stakes can be even higher. The success or failure of these
innovations - which are often intended to save people's lives or
improve their care in critical health situations - can often mean
the difference between life and death for many people.
The North Texas Enterprise Center for Medical Technology's sole
purpose as a nonprofit is to foster and nurture young companies in
this field. For the last six years, it has distinguished itself
from other business incubators and accelerators in the area by
focusing on medical technology, and for that reason it has become
not only the leading medical technology incubator in the Metroplex,
but also in the Southwest....
