Medical, clean tech incubator hosts conference

NTEC, the Frisco-based business incubator for medical technology and clean technology, will host its annual MedVentures conference Oct. 6 at the Frisco Convention Center.

The event is expected to draw more than 100 attendees, speakers, exhibitors and angel and venture capital investors.

NTEC's advisory board selected 10 companies from 70 applicants to pitch to a panel of investors. Of the 10 companies, eight are from Texas and one each is from Georgia and Ohio . The 10 companies include four North Texas startups - Coltrix Biomedical Inc. in Fort Worth , Macuclear Inc. in Plano, NRG-Unlimited Inc. in Plano and OxySure Systems Inc. in Frisco.
