GENBAND will occupy the third and fourth floors of the eight-story, 200,000-square-foot, Class A office building.

Recognized as one of the nation's fastest growing private companies, GENBAND is a global leader of IP applications, switching and services solutions, helping fixed, mobile and cable service providers around the world evolve communications networks through IP innovation. The company offers the industry's most comprehensive, standards-based switching portfolio, with products deployed in many of the world's largest service provider networks spanning more than 80 countries. The company recently purchased Nortel's Carrier VoIP and Application Solutions (CVAS) business, adding some 1,800 employees to its global workforce.

"We are pleased to have another significant corporate headquarters relocation to Hall Office Park," said Depker. "GENBAND's move validates our long range goals for the park and we look forward to their successes and our ability to accommodate future growth and expansion."

"Hall Office Park in Frisco combines several factors that make it an ideal setting for our corporate headquarters," said Jan Gaulding, Chief Administration Officer of GENBAND. "Most importantly, it is well situated in the Dallas Metroplex telecom corridor, which attracts some of the best and brightest engineering and IT talent. We also appreciated that Hall Office Park enjoys proximity to our existing Global Design Center in Plano, as well as the DFW airport. This area is one of the most business-friendly communities in the country and we are pleased to have secured a prominent building that portrays our brand well and positions us for long-term growth."

"Hall Office Park and the building that was selected exceeded GENBAND's needs in every way, providing an optimal location, Class A building quality, an ideal corporate business park setting, flexibility for future growth, and high visibility with top of building signage," says Baron Aldrine, senior vice president at CB Richard Ellis. "Jim Gandy and Nancy Windham with the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the City of Frisco also played a huge role in attracting GENBAND to Frisco. We are very pleased with the way all parties were able to come together under a tight timeframe. CBRE is proud to share a partnership with such a great, dynamic company as GENBAND."

The GENBAND corporate headquarters move is being facilitated by the Frisco Economic Development Corporation.

"The GENBAND relocation is a big win for Frisco," said Jim Gandy, president, Frisco Economic Development Corporation. "As a significant employer with a technology focus, the company's profile is right in-line with one of the City's target clusters for development. We are seeing corporate activity getting more serious with several of our prospects closer to making final decisions to relocate."

Kim Butler, director of leasing, and Tammy Lomonaco, leasing associate, handled negotiations on behalf of owner and landlord, Hall Financial Group. Brokers Baron Aldrine and Steve Rigby with CB Richard Ellis, Inc. represented GENBAND.

Completed in 2001, 2801 Network Boulevard totals 200,000 square feet of Class A space in eight stories with a covered parking garage.
