Deadline for Business Plans Is August 21st; Previous
Presenters Raised More Than $30 Million
Post-Conference
FRISCO, TX--(Marketwire - Aug 3, 2011) - The North Texas
Enterprise Center (NTEC) for Technology, leading regional
non-profit organization dedicated to assisting medical technology
start-up companies, announced today that MEDVENTURES 2011
will be held Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Frisco Convention
Center in Frisco, Texas. This is one of the premier
conferences in the U.S. for bringing together Medical Device
Companies and Investors. Past MedVentures presenters have raised
more than $30 million in investment funding after their
participation in the conference.
This 5th annual, early-stage investment and education
conference and company showcase focuses on the medical technology
sector.
The program includes panel discussions from industry, venture
capital and angel investor experts. There will be presentations
from top emerging MedTech start-ups, networking opportunities,
breakout sessions on industry trends and hot sectors in addition to
a corresponding trade show.
"The top presenting companies of the past two years raised over
$30 million following their selection as a presenting company at
MedVentures. This is a remarkable amount of money since almost all
these companies were pre-revenue," said Dr. Hubert Zajicek,
Managing Director Medical Technology at NTEC.
The deadline to apply to present is August 21, 2011.
Early registrations and sponsorships indicate that the 2011
conference will be the most successful in the event's 5 year
history. For more information about applying to present, exhibiting
